Our Kilim rugs from FERM LIVING are handmade, which is why each rug is unique. The weaving technique is called "Punja" and is one of the oldest techniques in the world. The weave varies from rug to rug. Small color differences may also occur, as the wool yarn is hand-dyed. The Kilim weave and wool yarn have a unique, rough feel. This is part of the characteristic of traditional Kilim rugs.

The rugs redefine traditional Kilim craftsmanship, combining it with a distinct sense of geometric and organic shapes as well as exceptional color blocking.

Material: 80% wool and 20% cotton (the wool fibers are sourced from India, New Zealand, and Europe. All cotton is BCI and GOTS certified.)
