Benefits of soy wax: Most conventional candles are made from paraffin wax, a byproduct of petroleum. When these conventionally produced candles are lit, toxic chemicals are released into the air. Soy wax, on the other hand, is 100% vegetable and has a clean, harmless burning behavior and is therefore non-toxic. In addition, soy wax burns up to 50% longer than conventional candles. Furthermore, soy is a renewable raw material and biodegradable.
Handling: When you light the candle for the first time, wait until the melted wax of your GRETE soy wax candle has reached the edge of the glass before you extinguish it. This will make your candle last much longer. Trim the wick of your GRETE soy wax candle if it starts to flicker.
