How to: The Paula self-watering flowerpots are based on a centuries-old watering method, perfected over time. Pepin's self-watering pots utilize the traditional Olla watering technique, where the natural porosity of the ceramic allows for even and efficient plant hydration. Water is stored in the outer pot and slowly released to the roots. This method harmonizes with the plants' natural rhythm, giving them exactly the amount of water they need – precisely when they need it.
