The Marimekko Seireeni cushion is made from a cotton-linen blend, adorned with crewel embroidery. The cover has a zipper on one side.During a trip to Greece in the early 1960s, Maija Isola was inspired by the movement of water and depicted it in several fabric prints, including Seireeni (Siren) from 1964. Named after the mythical sirens, the pattern also evokes the enchanting song that lured sailors into dangerous waters.
